The Executive Committee is the management board of ICOMIA. It comprises 8 members drawn from a representative geographical spread of the full members. Members usually serve a 5-year term less the President whose membership of the committee may extend to 7 years.

Protection of the marine environment is an ICOMIA core value. The Environment Committee addresses developing environmental concerns of the industry, represents the industry in meeting the challenges of environmental legislation which impacts almost all sectors, and seeks to guide the industry on environmental compliance.
- Marine Engine (IMEC)»
The International Council of Marine Industry Associations' Marine Engine Committee (IMEC), was formed in 1972 to bring together the major recreational marine engine manufacturers. It is a separate trade association but has a support agreement with ICOMIA. IMEC represents the recreational marine engine and personal watercraft manufacturers worldwide.

The Technical Committee plays an all-important role for the global industry. It monitors emerging technical regulations, guides the development and revision of ISO standards and seeks common global technical specifications among national standards. It remains aware of technical developments in other sectors and brings those of relevance to the attention of the recreational marine industry for possible imitation or development.
- Super Yacht Division»
The Super Yacht Division provides a forum for MIAs with superyacht sectors and their members to meet and discuss issues affecting them and where necessary to develop responses often in partnership with other sector associations.

The Super Yacht Coatings Applicator Group seeks to maintain and improve quality within the Group, follow professional working standards and meet specified environmental best practices. The Group will act as the voice of this segment of the industry.

The ICOMIA Grow Boating Committee provides a foirum for members to examine current campaigns dedicated to growing recreational boating globally.
